Description
The refreshing Gin Gin Mule cocktail is a modern classic! It’s essentially a mashup of a bubbly Moscow mule and a minty Mojito. Alternate method for a gin mule below*.
Ingredients
- 4 mint sprigs*
- ½ ounce (1 tablespoon) fresh lime juice
- ½ ounce (1 tablespoon) simple syrup
- 2 ounces (¼ cup) gin
- 2 ounces (¼ cup) ginger beer
- For the garnish: lime wedges, mint sprig
Instructions
- Gently muddle (mash) the mint sprigs in the bottom of the mug using a cocktail muddler or wooden spoon.
- Add the lime juice, simple syrup and gin. Stir to combine.
- Add ice and the ginger beer and stir gently. Garnish with lime and mint.
Notes
*Alternate method: to make a straight up Gin Mule, simply add 2 ounces (¼ cup) gin, ½ ounce (1 tablespoon) fresh lime juice, and 4 ounces (½ cup) ginger beer in a copper mug, and fill with ice. Garnish with lime wedges and mint sprigs.
