Hi! Thanks for the comment. This cast-iron skillet is 12″ and very heavy, so we don’t use it every day. Our workhorse is actually a 12″ All-Clad stainless skillet. We also love our Staub Dutch oven. We’ve found both brands to be super durable and quality.

I can’t wait to try your Pasta Primavera and so many of your other amazing recipes I enjoy receiving by email. I also plan to get your cookbook.

My question today is, what brand(s) of cookware do you prefer to use in your kitchen? I see that you used a Lodge skillet for the Primavera recipe and wondered what size. Many thanks!

We cut back the salt by 1/2 teaspoon and added grilled chicken. It’s important to follow the advice to measure everything and prep veggies ahead! Give it a try, it’s very good!

You can, but it will be a little less flavorful.

Whoops! That was a typo. We used torcetti but casarecce would work too!

Isn’t that Casereccia shaped pasta? Isn’t tortellini the little hat shaped pasta that is usually stuffed with cheese or meat or somesuch?

Simple flavors that come together to make this dish magical. My husband and I are eating less meat and more veggies thanks to your recipes. Thank you so much!
